January 30th - February 27th: IWEG has involved a number of local, renowned wineries to develop a one of a kind Ontario wine course. The "Ontario's Brave New Wines" course will provide in-depth insight to our wonderful local wine industry.
Ontario wineries have a proud commitment to producing quality wines, but they are also dedicated to the environment; with organic, biodynamic and sustainable wines shaking up old ideas and taking palates by surprise. In collaboration with the Wine Marketing Association of Ontario, four sessions of learning and tasting will include exploring climatic factors, viticultural practices, sustainable farming while sampling quality VQA wines. The Grange is excited to be part of the February 20th course (3rd course) on 'Alternative Approaches: Organic, Biodynamic and low intervention wines'. It is only $300 for all four sessions or $80 per individual class. Below are the dates and topics of each. Click here to find out more or to sign up for this unique look into the venture of Ontario winemaking.
