Great news!
Trumpour's Mill wines are now on general list with LCBO outlets across Ontario. Trumpour's Mill Gamay Noir (4 stars in Wine Current, Double Gold winner at the All Canada Wine Championships) and Trumpour's Mill Pinot Gris (the finest Ontario Pinot Gris, according to Zoltan Szabo) will be on the shelves in over 175 LCBO stores. If it's not in your local store, please ask for it!
The not so great news is the weather!
Unrelenting rains throughout the month of July have presented many problems in the vineyard, not the least of which is the mud through which the field workers must trudge. It's hard going out there these days, but Mike is hopeful that the weather will break soon. Forecasters are calling for a hot, dry month of August and that will certainly be a welcomed change.
It's hard to imagine that we are already mid-way through summer and, if all goes as planned, only 7 or 8 weeks from harvest!
