Here at The Grange we harvest by hand - a labour intensive undertaking that insures the highest quality grape content. Our white wine grapes are destemmed and crushed, then pressed using a gentle membrane press to preserve the fruit structure of the wines.
Red wine grapes are fermented in their skins for 7 - 15 days. During the initial fermentation process caps ar epunch down twice a day to enahnce the aromatics and structure. Most reds are fermented in French oak barrels for perdiods ranging from 4 months to 12 months, depending upon the vintage.
Be sure to try our estate wines - including our 2006 Rose, 2005 Gamay Noir and soon to be released, 2005 Pinot Noir.
Trumpour's Mill wines are served at fine dining locations and are available for purchase at the winery retail store,at selected LCBO outlets throughout Ontario and over the internet through Winery to Home. Emailed orders are accepted with credit card.
